We are looking for a few good young boys and girls who want to grow up to be a Dayton Bulldog. Our “Building A Dog” program is designed to instill.

bulletThe basic fundamental skills for the game of basketball.
bulletPride in being a Dayton Bulldog.
bulletConfidence in being on the court in front of hundreds of people.
bulletA love for the Game.

If you have a child between Kindergarten and 6th grade, they need to be a part of this program. This program is not only designed to develop basketball skills, but also teaching kids how to be successful and persevere. We teach kids something they can be successful at, then build on that success.

Our desire is for your child to grow in skill and confidence, to be successful throughout school and life.

THIS IS OUR DREAM

We are starting a Basketball Youth Program, “Building A Dog” (B.A.D.). Our purpose is not only to develop basketball skills but also a program that would allow the kids to develop confidence, responsibility, self-esteem….and all while having fun. We strive to have this excitement not only contagious with our young boys and girls of Dayton, but also with the parents who have not been exposed to our basketball program at Dayton High School.

Our B.A.D. program will be for children, Kindergarten through 6th grade. The B.A.D. program is a performance groups specializing in basketball skills, drills, and tricks, and will perform during halftime at the Boys Varsity Basketball game.

Why B.A.D.?

bulletto create an early interest in basketball.
bulletto encourage the development of ball handling skills.

but B.A.D. is more than just basketball…

bulletto improve agility, physical skills, and general fitness.
bulletto stimulate individual work ethic and self-discipline.
bulletto build self-assurance and self-esteem.

In addition, B.A.D. allows for personal growth...

bullet B.A.D. allows each child the opportunity to perform in front of a crowd and overcome the nervousness that keeps so many from trying new things.
bulletB.A.D. allows each child to "mess up" and keep going ~ an invaluable lesson.
bulletB.A.D. allows each child to work at his/her own level to be successful..
